“Kettcar Gran Premio de Mallorca”

Notice of Race, April 2019

The event is a pedal car race for kids aged 6 to 9 years as part of Mallorca Classic Week by Port Adriano September 21st 2019.

Race cars for the competition will be 18 of the legendary classic “Super Kettcar” as of 1969 manufactured specially for MCW by PA.

Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher once called the Kettler Pedal Car a „Piece of Liberty on Wheels“.

For many of us it was the first step into the world of classic automoblies.

REGULATIONS

1) RACE ELIGIBILITY

The race is open to Boys and Girls aged 6 to 9 on Saturday September 21st 2019.

2) CARS

The following classification is valid for the participating cars:

Pedal Cars of the same type and condition provided by the Organization Team courtesy of Kettler.

All cars must be presented to MCW by PA eligibility technical Consultants prior to the race to check compliance with technical regulations.

3) SPORTING REGULATIONS

The start procedure is a “Le Mans” start.

The starting position will be drawn with a lottery ticket.

4) LEGAL REGULATIONS

A Race license has to be obtained by filling in the application form including Waiver of Liability and rights of media publication signed by the driver and the parents.

5) APPLICATION

Applications shall be done via the online form at the MCW by PA Website www.mallorcaclassicweek.com. More Information can be obtained via the registration office registration@mallorca classciweek.com or +34 971 232 494.

The MCW by PA selection committee decides whether an application is approved till August 31st 2019.

6) SAFETY

Helmets provided by Organization Team are mandatory to be worn by the drivers while on the race course.

7) PRESENTATION

MCW by PA requires a specific standard of aesthetic driver and vehicle presentation,

During the the Gran Premio de Mallorca no advertising, logos or graphics may appear on any vehicle other than the official decals. It is appropriate for drivers’ names to appear on the vehicles

8)AMENDMENTS

MCW by PA reserves the right to amend these regulations prior to the event. Any and all amendments will be issued to competitors via the online Official Bulletin.
